A young man sets the studio on fire after YouTube followers fail to increase

In Jharkhand, India, a young YouTuber set fire to a Rs 1 million studio set up inside his home, suffering from severe mental stress due to the lack of followers on his YouTube channel.

According to reports, 27-year-old Vidhyak Prajapati worked from home as a film editor and digital media producer. He sold his land and set up a modern studio and hoped to gain popularity on YouTube through hard work. However, despite months of hard work, he suffered from severe mental stress due to not gaining the desired number of followers.

According to the details of the accident, at around 10 pm on Saturday night, Vidhyak locked himself inside the studio and set it on fire. Within a few moments, smoke spread throughout the house and the family was trapped inside due to the closed iron door. On information from neighbors, the police broke the wall and entered the house and brought the family out safely.

All the computers, cameras, sound systems and lighting equipment in the studio were completely burnt. After setting the fire, Vidhyak saved his life by jumping backwards and was later admitted to a hospital in Ranchi for psychiatric treatment. Currently, the family is facing financial difficulties and an appeal has been made to the local administration for help.

According to experts, the incident highlights the dangers of social media and digital platform pressure among young people, where the race for success can sometimes be detrimental to mental health.
