Afghan Foreign Ministry strongly condemns blast in Islamabad

Kabul:  The Afghan Foreign Ministry condemned the explosion in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad. Afghan Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Abdul Qahar Balkhi issued a statement condemning the blasts that took place during Friday prayers in the mosque, killing and injuring many worshippers.

He said that such attacks that violate the sacred rituals and sanctity of mosques, such attacks that target worshippers and citizens are regrettable.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns such attacks, calling them contrary to Islamic and human values.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson further said that we express our condolences to the families of the martyrs and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
