Islamabad: Four facilitators of the terrorist who carried
out a suicide attack in the Tarlai Kalan area of Islamabad have been
arrested.
Security sources have said that intelligence and law
enforcement agencies conducted raids in Peshawar and Nowshera, in which one
official was martyred. It has been reported that the operations were carried
out as a result of technical and human intelligence, and the ISIS Afghan
mastermind of the suicide attack was also arrested.
Security sources further said that the attack was planned,
trained and brainwashed by ISIS in Afghanistan, under the auspices of the
Afghan Taliban, ISIS and other terrorist organizations are a major threat to
regional and global peace.
A son of the homeland has been martyred and three injured in
the operation to arrest the facilitators, while more intelligence-based
operations are underway against the terrorists.
It should be noted that a suicide bombing at an Imambargah
in the Tarlai Kalan area of Islamabad killed 33 people and injured 162. The
condition of many of the injured is critical and they are being treated at PIMS
and Polyclinic Hospital.
The international community, including China, the United
States, Russia, Azerbaijan, Canada, Australia, Germany, Iran, Afghanistan,
India, the United Nations, and the European Union, have strongly condemned this
terrorist attack and expressed solidarity with Pakistan, while Prime Minister
Shahbaz Sharif has expressed his determination that those responsible will be
brought to justice.
