Dozens of camels participating in a camel beauty contest
held in Oman in the past few days were stopped from participating in the
competition solely on the grounds that their owners had injected them with
Botox injections to enhance their beauty.
According to Arab media, 20 camels who underwent Botox and
other artificial procedures to enhance their beauty were stopped from
participating in the annual camel beauty contest.
It should be noted that there is a strict ban on using
artificial substances to make camels attractive and beautiful. Previously,
several camels were disqualified from a camel beauty contest held in Saudi
Arabia for undergoing artificial procedures for beauty.
