Pakistan's second indigenous satellite EO-2 successfully launched


 

Islamabad: Pakistan's second indigenous satellite, EO-2, was successfully launched.

According to the spokesperson of Suparco, the satellite was launched from the Yangjiang Sea Shore Center in China. The satellite will enhance the Earth observation and imaging capabilities, and the satellite will provide important data for planning and resource management.

Pakistan’s satellite fleet will increase, the continuity and accuracy of observations will improve, and the satellite will be helpful in governance, disaster management and strategic planning.

According to the spokesperson, the local EO2 demonstrates Pakistan’s self-reliance in satellite manufacturing.
