There will be an online identity verification facility for government and regulated private institutions, all facilities including registration, subscription and access will be available on a web portal.

Regulated private institutions including banks, telecom and financial Institutions will also be able to benefit, NADRA has taken an initiative under the Digital Economy Announcement Project of the Government of Pakistan, the identity verification process will be fast, secure and completely digital.

This initiative will promote the digital economy, increase the confidence of citizens, NADRA provides identity verification services under the NADRA Ordinance and related rules, difficulties used to arise due to long documentation process and repeated approvals, thanks to ‘Nishan Pakistan’, all the processes will be in one place, online and completely digital.

Onboarding will be fast, transparent and in accordance with legal requirements, data will be more secure and immediate provision of services will be possible.
