Islamabad: A notification has been issued regarding
cybersecurity awareness and digital capacity building.
The Ministry of Federal Education has sent orders to all
institutions, and has directed them to intensify cybersecurity measures on the
instructions of the Prime Minister's Office. Participation in online training
courses has been made mandatory for government officials, and a training
program has been started in collaboration with Cisco Networking Academy.
Special focus has been placed on employees using Android and
iOS, and the last date for registration for courses has been set as March 8,
2026. Students above grade 9 have also been instructed to be included in the
courses, and heads of institutions have been ordered to ensure enrollment and
monitoring.
Instructions have also been issued to maintain records of
certificates, and notification has been declared a top priority in view of
cyber threats.
