Manama: Bahrain’s
intelligence agency has arrested an Indian national on charges of providing
sensitive information to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.
According to
foreign media reports, the arrested person has been identified as Nitin Mohan, telecommunications
engineer by profession. the accused provided sensitive geographical
information, photos and videos to Mossad, including details of some important
and strategic locations. It is being said that this information could be
helpful in identifying and analyzing targets for foreign intelligence.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior has confirmed the arrest, but further information about the investigation and technical details has not yet been released. The investigation into the matter is ongoing and the details will be shared with the public after more facts emerge.
