Doha: Iran launched a missile attack on the Ras Laffan
Industrial City in Qatar, causing a massive fire there.
According to the news agency, Qatar Energy said that a
missile attack on Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar on Wednesday evening caused
a fire, after which teams were sent to extinguish the fire, and there was no
loss of life or property from the attack.
Qatar strongly condemned the targeting of Ras Laffan
Industrial City, calling the action a dangerous escalation and a clear
violation of state sovereignty and a direct threat to its national security and
regional stability.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry said that although Qatar has
distanced itself from this war since the beginning and has adopted a policy of
not getting involved in any tension, the Iranian side is continuously targeting
it and neighboring countries, which is an irresponsible behavior and is
weakening regional security while also posing a threat to global peace.
