Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the killing of Iranian security chief Ali Larijani is an official assassination.
The Russian President expressed grief over the martyrdom of
Dr. Ali Ardeshir Larijani and said that all principles of morality and
international law were trampled upon.
In a message to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, Russian
President Putin said that Ali Larijani was a true friend, and his role in
relations with Russia will be remembered.
While China strongly condemns the killing of Dr. Ali
Larijani, in this regard the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the killing of
Iranian national security chief Ali Larijani in an Israeli air strike is
unacceptable.
According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, China is trying
to mediate in the war, and Chinese special envoy Xie Jin has met with senior
Middle Eastern officials.
