Islamabad: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced that two early-type drones of the terrorist organization FAK, which were sponsored by the Afghan Taliban government, were successfully shot down by Pakistani security forces through electronic countermeasures.
According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting,
apart from minor damage caused by the debris from the downing of these drones,
no military or other infrastructure was damaged.
As usual, there is no verifiable evidence to support the
Taliban government’s claims, but these claims make it clear that it is acting
as a central proxy for terrorism. The Ministry of Information says that the
Taliban government is providing shelter and support to several terrorist
organizations, including the Indian-backed groups FAK and FAH.
The official social media accounts of the Taliban
government, including this so-called Ministry of Defense account, are known to
regularly promote fake news and propaganda.
According to the Ministry of Information, they recently made
baseless claims about shooting down Pakistan Air Force aircraft and capturing
pilots, which were later deleted in shame.
