Iran will withdraw from the agreement if Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue: Iranian envoy

Tehran: Iran has announced its stance regarding Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

According to Iranian media, Iran’s representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, said in response that if Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue, Iran will withdraw from the ceasefire agreement. He added that if Israel does not stop bombing Lebanon, it will have to suffer serious consequences in the coming days.

It should be noted that a temporary ceasefire has been agreed between the United States and Iran for two weeks. Iran is calling it its ‘conquest’, while the United States and Israel have welcomed it. The agreement mentions the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and stopping attacks on Iran.

It should be noted that Israel has carried out severe airstrikes in various areas of Lebanon, including Beirut, today, resulting in dozens of deaths.
