Lahore: A
major change has been decided in the curriculum from grades one to fifth.
A new
curriculum will be implemented from the new academic year. It has been decided
to shorten the new curriculum, reducing unnecessary content. The Curriculum
Advisory Board has given in-principle approval for the changes.
The position
was taken that SLOs will be reduced to reduce the burden on students. It has
been approved to make digital education, ethics, and the environment part of
the curriculum.
CEO PACTA
says that work has started on the new curriculum for the next academic year.
Changes will be made with modern requirements in mind, while reforms are
being implemented rapidly.
According to
PACTA officials, the curriculum has been updated according to global
educational trends.
