Washington: US
President Donald Trump has shared several photos created with the help of
artificial intelligence (AI) on social media, one of which is rapidly going
viral on the Internet.
In this
photo, 79-year-old President Trump is seen relaxing shirtless in the historic
Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, along with senior officials
of his cabinet.
This photo
was posted on his social media platform Truth Social at 11:03 am local time
without any caption. This viral artificial photo shows President Trump lying on
a gold-colored air-filled sofa, smiling and giving a thumbs-up gesture.
Trump is
also accompanied by Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and
Secretary of the Interior Doug Bergham in the pool. An unidentified woman is
also seen on the right side of the photo, which has surprised and intrigued
Internet users.
The post was part of a 42-minute series of photos by
President Trump, during which he shared a total of 11 AI images between 11:03
and 11:45 p.m., including one of his face on Mount Rushmore.
The image may seem strange to look at, but its context is
important. The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is currently undergoing a $1.5
million renovation at the behest of President Trump, overseen by Interior
Secretary Doug Burgum.
The project aims to repair leaks in the pool’s granite
foundation and give it a new coating of blue, like the American flag, in time
for America’s 250th anniversary on July 4.
President Trump wrote on Truth Social that Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and I are working to fix this very dirty reflecting pool located between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument, blaming the previous administration for the pool’s current poor condition.
