Flour prices have skyrocketed in various cities of the country, with a 20-kilogram bag of flour becoming more expensive by Rs 200 in a week.

Based on the Federal Bureau of Statistics document, during the past week, a 20-kilogram bag of flour in Hyderabad and Larkana became more expensive by Rs 200, Sargodha by Rs 190 and Sukkur by Rs 160.

According to the document, Multan increased the price by Rs 133.33 while Karachi and Khuzdar saw an increase in the price of a 20-kilogram bag of flour by Rs 100.

Similarly, the price of a 20-kilogram bag of flour increased by Rs 90 in Quetta, Islamabad by Rs 67, Gujranwala by Rs 66 and Rawalpindi by Rs 40.

The document shows that the price of a 20 kg bag of flour in Karachi is the highest in the country at Rs 2,500, while the price of a 20 kg bag of flour in Lahore is the lowest in the country at Rs 1,810.

According to the document, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour in Quetta is Rs 2,450, Hyderabad is Rs 2,440, Islamabad is Rs 2,373, Peshawar is Rs 2,350, and in Bannu and Khuzdar, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour is Rs 2,300.

Similarly, Rawalpindi is Rs 2,347, Faisalabad is Rs 2,250, while in Sukkur and Larkana, a 20 kg bag of flour is Rs 2,200.

According to the document, the price of a 20-kilogram bag of flour in Gujranwala, Multan, and Sialkot is Rs. 2,133, Bahawalpur is Rs. 2,067, while in Sargodha, the price of a 20-kilogram bag of flour is up to Rs. 2,000.
