contempt of court petition against the non-implementation of the decision of
the larger bench regarding the shortcomings in the criminal justice system in
the Peshawar High Court, during which the Chief Secretary, Advocate General,
and Secretary Home KP appeared in the court.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice of the High Court
asked the Chief Secretary to tell why the decision of the larger bench was not
implemented. There is nothing in the report you presented. We have asked to
strengthen the prosecution.
Chief Justice SM Atiq Shah remarked that this province is of
40 million people, the province is burning, no one is asking, the southern
districts are burning due to terrorism, no one can go to DI Khan, Karak, Tank,
I myself was going to DI Khan, I could not go due to security reasons.

province, what is happening in this province? Officers of the prosecution
department do not go to backward districts, if our female judge can do duty
there, why do other officers not go?

samples are sent to Lahore from the province, a DNA test costs 1.1 million
rupees while there is no laboratory for DNA test in the province.

take steps to reduce the difficulties of the people, if someone is not doing
their job, we will take action against them. Chief Secretary KP Shahab Ali Shah

have prepared a report and will also share it with the court.

dismiss the officers who are not working, appoint the good ones, if there is
political interference, then tell us.
