Pakistani mountaineer reaches the summit of Mount Everest, the world's highest peak

Lahore: Pakistani mountaineer Salman Atiq has scaled the world’s highest peak, Everest.

Salman Atiq reached the summit of Everest at 11:49 am this morning. Salman Atiq, who hails from Islamabad, is the 14th Pakistani to scale Everest.

The height of Mount Everest in Nepal is 8,848 meters. Salman Atiq had also scaled Maslow Peak in Nepal last year.
