14 children killed, 6 injured as roof of tuition center collapses in Lahore, rescue operation complete


It has been confirmed that 14 children have died in the tragic incident of the roof collapse of a tuition center in the Kahna nau area.

According to the punjab Health Minister, the number of children killed in the accident has reached 14. According to rescue officials, 20 to 25 people, including a female teacher, were present in the tuition center, most of the children were minors.

Rescue officials say that the incident was reported at 4:45 pm. According to residents, the building also had a school in the morning while the children were present for tuition in the academy.

According to the police, construction work was underway on the upper floor of the tuition center, while the children were present on the ground floor. After the incident, two people, including the owner of the house, have been taken into custody.

Details of the children killed and injured in the collapse of the roof of the tuition center

Among the dead are 7-year-old Mah Noor Farooq, 7-year-old Ramsha Atif, 5-year-old Murtaza Atif, 9-year-old Ghulam Nabi, 6-year-old Tabsha Shahzad, 16-year-old Khadija, daughter of Wasim, 6-year-old Salman, son of Wasim and 8-year-old Fawad son of Abid.

According to THQ Hospital Kahna, the condition of 6 children injured in the accident is stable, the injured include 8-year-old Abiha, 10-year-old Faria, 11-year-old Murtaza, 8-year-old Ayan, 7-year-old Rabia and 30-year-old Hamida Rehan.

According to the hospital administration, immediate medical assistance has been provided to the injured and their condition is said to be out of danger.
