Hassanabdal: After another serious case of robbery came to
light against the notorious accused Farjad Arshad alias (Fari) arrested in a
previous case by the Sadar Hassan Abdal police, the court has approved the
3-day physical remand of the accused and handed him over to the Bahtar police
for investigation and recovery.
According to the details, the accused Farjad Arshad son of
Arshad Mahmood alias Fari was already involved in a case registered in the
Sadar Hassan Abdal police station in connection with kidnapping a transgender
person at gunpoint, keeping him in illegal detention and withdrawing millions
of rupees through his bank account and ATM. He was arrested and lodged in the
District Jail Attock on judicial remand.
During the detention, it was revealed that the accused is
also involved in another serious case registered in the Bahtar police station.
The accused confessed to the incident during custody, upon which the
investigating officer of Bahtar police station, SI Amjad Ali Khan, filed a
"Request for Summoning the Accused" in the court of Area Magistrate
Hassan Abdal and requested to summon him from jail, which the court approved.
After taking the accused from jail into custody, he was
presented in the court of Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Shahid Zia. The
investigating officer appeared along with the case record and informed the
court that the accused has been formally nominated in this case in light of the
supplementary statement of the plaintiff. The accused is very clever and a
habitual criminal, from whom the incident has to be investigated and the stolen
property and weapons have yet to be recovered, for which a 5-day physical
remand should be granted.
After reviewing the case record and the police's
investigation progress, the honorable court approved a 3-day physical remand of
the accused Farjad Arshad for the completion of the investigation and handed
him over to Bahtar police station. The court has strictly directed the
investigating officer to complete the investigation positively within the given
time and to present the accused again before the court on June 16, 2026. A copy
of the court orders has also been sent to the District and Sessions Judge,
Attock.
