London: Pakistan's famous actress Mahira Khan once again
demonstrated her spirit of social service by attending a charity fundraising
event for the victims of Gaza in the British capital, London.
The event was held at the 'London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor
Square' in central London, which was attended by a large number of members of
the British Pakistani community, philanthropists and supporters of the
Palestinian people.
The event was organized by Haroon Rashid in collaboration
with the non-governmental organization Forgotten Women, which aimed to raise funds
for those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Mahira Khan's participation in the event became the center
of attention, her photos and videos quickly went viral on social media, in
which she was seen meeting participants, taking pictures with fans and
supporting the relief campaign.
According to reports, about 104,000 British pounds were
collected during this charity event, which will be spent on providing
humanitarian aid to the war-affected Palestinians in Gaza. A few weeks ago,
Mahira Khan had participated in the annual event of the British Asian Trust as
Pakistan's ambassador, where she met with the King of Britain, Charles III.
On the other hand, social media users appreciated Mahira
Khan's social efforts, saying that such activities of influential personalities
not only strengthen relief campaigns but also mobilize the public to help
people in need around the world.
In the context of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza,
such events are considered an important part of efforts to promote relief
