Islamabad:
SSP Operations Sulaiman Zafar has suspended the concerned police official after
taking strict notice of the public slapping of a citizen in the New Blue area
of the federal capital.

Sulaiman Zafar said that the misbehavior of policemen with citizens is not
acceptable in any case, he ordered an inquiry into the incident and made it
clear that any abuse of power or unprofessional behavior will be dealt with
under the zero-tolerance policy.
He
further directed that the police officers should treat the citizens with
respect according to the law and regulations, while further legal and
departmental action will be taken against the responsible persons after a full
investigation of the incident.
