Islamabad: FIA Immigration at Islamabad Airport offloaded a passenger, Rabia Firdous, the daughter of Ghulam Mustafa Khan, on Air Blue flight ED230 on August 09, 2026, while he was en route to the UAE. The passenger was traveling on a paper visa, whose OK to Board was sent to the airline for verification.
Investigation revealed that the passenger tried to go to the
UAE on a family visa of another family.
According to the initial investigation, the passenger
intended to reach Dubai and remain illegally; however, given the UAE's strict
scrutiny of Pakistani passengers' visas, he would have to be deported from
there as well.
When immigration clearance was completed, the passenger
misbehaved with the duty staff, made a video recording on social media,
threatened the FIA staff and obstructed official duties. Despite this, the
passenger started making baseless allegations against the FIA, hiding his fraud
committed with the connivance of the agent.
FIA Islamabad Zone clarifies that all immigration proceedings
were carried out in accordance with the law and the passenger was offloaded and
handed over to the Airport Police Station for further legal action.
FIA warns citizens that traveling on someone else’s family
visa or attempting to travel abroad using fake documents is a legal offense and
strict legal action will be taken against such persons.
