Islamabad: CDA capital development authority on Thursday strictly enforced the supervisions according to which housing society are compelled to have legal letters of officially approved plots.

In order to protect the money of locals they have ventured it is important to initiate this process. And keeping in view the history societies sell piece of lands without having the required property.

Consequently, large number of citizens pay the amount to the

Landholders of housing society and do not receive plots in return. It is often seen that the housing society owners usually sell public infrastructures including areas for green areas mosques and schools.

As per the regulations of CDA: “the appointment letters published by the landholders must be first presented to CDA capital development authority for scrutiny and for final decision. Other than that  CDA  will make sure  that only the designated plots will be shared to the customers.”

The department of capital of CDA which deals with the regulations of the housing authorities wrote a legal letter which is just been discussed and published it to other sectors. And concurrently the same wing also approved 66 housing schemes and ordered them to advertise it on there official websites within the society so that citizens could know the update of the plots.

 Most of the housing societies in Islamabad are blamed for telling the public infrastructure and lands allotted for public.

According to the letter it was stated that NAB has targeted that the landholders are miss conducting the land which has to be given to the citizens and which is allotted for the utility services they are  exploiting there authoritative perks.

Recently, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi also stated there were 199 illegal housing societies in Islamabad and that CDA teams were working on each of them.

In order to protect the rights of the local citizens it is very essential to implement laws and to reinforce rules that can supervise and ensure the operational clarity because honesty is required for the interest of the public as well as to sustain     effectively.

More over the landholders are strictly ordered to display all the updates regarding the plots on the websites so that the citizens may know. It was ordered that the display must be 7cross 5 feet to ensure it’s prominence, along with a QR code.

It is also to be noted that along with 66 legally allowed housing schemes there are 199 housing structures.

As per the statement of Mohsin Naqvi the interior Minister it was ensured to the media that CDA is working on the 199 illegal housing infrastructures.

He uttered: “ From our side we will give these housing schemes a chance to stand legally  under or systematic lawful framework. Will levy penalty  and imposes sanctions.”

 “After imposing legal amorces I have decided CDA to keep an eye on the  construction sites through satellite” he added.
