Islamabad: The Supreme Court has ordered the transfer of PTI founder Imran Khan to Shifa Hospital.

In ordering Khan's transfer to Shifa Hospital until the next hearing, the Supreme Court stated that a medical board must be convened for him, that his transfer to the hospital must be conducted under strict security measures, and that it must not disrupt public order outside the hospital.

During the hearing regarding the case concerning the PTI founder's meeting and treatment, Supreme Court Justice Shahid Waheed questioned the reason for withholding Khan's medical records. The material provided was only a summary of the medical report.

Justice Shahid Waheed ordered that Khan's full medical records be submitted before the next hearing and noted that if the records reached the court, they would not be kept confidential.

Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan asked, "Your report indicates that an angiogram should be performed. Can an angiogram be performed in prison?" In response, the Islamabad Prosecutor General stated that the meeting could take place outside the hospital.

Judge Shahid Waheed declared that the PTI founder had neither a normal pulse nor heart rate. According to medical reports, his vital organs were beginning to be affected.

The judge asked, "What is your opinion regarding the meeting with the sisters?" The Islamabad Prosecutor General replied that if anyone broke the law, the meeting would not take place. The court countered, "If he breaks the law, will you also hold it?" Meeting with the sisters is not a favor, but a fundamental right. It is not the role of the state to break the law. Why are the instructions of the Islamabad High Court not being followed?

The Islamabad Prosecutor General informed the court that, over three years, 48 ​​meetings had been held between the sisters and the PTI founder. In response, the High Court requested that the PTI founder provide full details of the meetings held during that period. The court also requested a recording of the PTI founder's conversation with the children.
