MQM Pakistan leader and Federal Minister for Health, Mustafa
Kamal, has once again demanded that Karachi be brought under the control of the
Federal Government.
In a conversation with the media, Mustafa Kamal said that an
important city like Karachi should not be under the control of an incompetent
provincial government like the Sindh government. Karachi should be made part of
the federation immediately. The Federal Government can control Karachi through
a notification as per Article 148.
On the question of withdrawing security from MQM Pakistan
leaders, Mustafa Kamal said that security was also withdrawn from me; it does
not matter whether we have security or not, they think that they will scare us
by withdrawing security, they have no right to remain the rulers of Karachi,
the Sindh government cannot suppress our voice by taking such steps.
The federal minister said that the people of Sindh stand on
the highway and shout slogans of breaking Pakistan; the Sindh government gives
them security, but they are destroying Pakistan with their actions.
He said that a letter has also been written to the federal
government, and they are also talking about this in the cabinet meeting. The
entire federal government and the state are listening to our position, the
world goes to the moon, and our children are falling into the gutter; no one is
talking about the undemocratic, unconstitutional act of Government.
