Peshawar: Robotic surgery has been launched at Lady Reading
Hospital, eliminating the need for patients in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to travel to
other cities or abroad for advanced treatment.
Robotic surgery is a modern treatment method in which
doctors perform surgery with assistance from a robotic system. This system uses
very thin instruments and high-definition cameras that clearly show the
internal parts of the body.
According to experts, doctors have also been specially trained
for this modern technology. Through robotic surgery, complex operations can be
