Hangu: Eight miscreants were killed in a terrorist attack on
Khazina Banda check post in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During an operation
against terrorists in Hangu, the police made a great sacrifice while fighting
bravely.
According to the spokesperson, 7 officials, including DSP
Diyar Khan Jam, were martyred in the exchange of fire with the terrorists,
while 8 miscreants were killed. The DPO said that a total of 22 police
officials including DSP Mujahid Hussain were injured during the operation and
were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.
The police said that an operation against the terrorists is
underway in the area, while security forces have cordoned off the area and
intensified the search operation.
On the other hand, senior police officials said that the
injured officials are being provided with the best medical facilities and the
sacrifice of the martyrs will not be allowed to go in vain.
