Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Federal Investigation Authority (FIA)
has arrested the accused in connection with a work visa fraud case.
According to the FIA, the accused, Umar Raza Naeem, received
a total of 3.2 million rupees by deceiving citizens into providing him with
work visas abroad. Authorities stated that despite receiving the money, the
accused neither provided the promised work visas nor returned the funds.
The Rawalpindi FIA, acting on complaints from affected
citizens, registered the case against the accused and arrested him.
FIA officials added that the investigation of the accused is
ongoing, and that investigations are also underway regarding other individuals
involved in the fraud and financial transactions.
