Imran Khan is tip-top. Superintendent Jail

Islamabad: A report submitted by the superintendent of Adiala Jail to the Supreme Court indicates that several government doctors are conducting medical examinations of Imran Khan. The report, citing the assurance given by Salman Akram Raja in the High Court ruling, notes that he had stated he would not speak to the media inside the jail after the meeting.

According to the report, despite the court order, press freedom was violated by allowing media outlets to speak to each other. The Islamabad High Court's single-judge panel declared Article 265 of the Prison Regulations unlawful in the Shera Afzal case, and public discontent against the judiciary, foreign policy, and law enforcement was incited through meetings in the jail.

The report from the superintendent of Adiala Prison indicates that Imran Khan and his wife receive regular visits every Tuesday, in accordance with prison regulations. To date, 84 meetings have taken place between them. Lawyer Salman Safdar also met with Imran Khan on February 10 and April 4, 2026.

The report notes that medical officials monitor the PTI founder's food and drink and conduct medical checkups three times a day. In addition, several government doctors treat Imran Khan, and their records are available. The report also includes a summary of 39 checkups conducted by 26 different medical experts between November 4 and August 10.

The report submitted to the court indicates that the PTI founder has been receiving ophthalmological treatment and that one of his eyes has almost regained normal vision.

It is worth noting that a three-judge panel of the Supreme Court, presided over by Justice Shahid Waheed, will examine the case concerning Imran Khan's health and appointments on 18th August.
