Islamabad: The complainant is a former Navy Officer named Saeed Ahmed, resident of Block K, house 14, Naval Anchorage, Islamabad, who states that he is subjected to physical violence by her wife Amna Saeed for several times. She deliberately indulges in fights and violence with his daughters as well. As per his claims, 5 months back she badly mauled him, resulting in severe injury to his right eye.
But he did not lodge a case against her in order to protect
his reputation in his institute and for his daughters' well-being.
Furthermore, he said that in the present year 15 Jan 2026
and 31 May 2026 she thrashed him using iron rods causing him get admitted in
the hospital and even than he didn't say anything to anyone.
But later on in July 04,2026 she again attacked him and his
daughters using iron rod which could actually kill them for real.
He claimed that she attacked with iron rods aiming on his
chest,legs and back, seeing this when his daughters intervened she beat them up
too.
He got severely injured, he said.
Prior to this incident, she threatened him and took control
of his car keys, ATM cards and even named his house on her own name under
duress.
He further told that he was in CMH under medical observation
with his daughters and now has come to file FIR(first information report)
against his wife Amna Saeed as she is a threat to their lives.
Following his claims when officially checked the CMH
emergency ward, his two daughters Maham and Mashallah Arooj were found
admitted.
ASI Farzana Beghum alongside HC sarfaraz went to the
hospital and took written statement from the victim and initiated legal
proceedings as per FIR No. 92/26 under Sections 324 of PPC( Pakistan Penal
Code) attempt to murder charges.
After all the investigations she was arrested by the police
and presented presented in front of the High Court justice khadim soomro. The advocate of former
Navy officer of presented evidences to prove their side explaining that the
wife has thrashed the Navy officer severely resulting his admit in the emergency ward. CCTV footage was also shown to justice khadim
Hussain soomro. After hearing advocates including the legal party and judge all
burst into laughter. Judge uttered:
" When your own lawyer is laughing while presenting evidences how can I
control myself?" He than asked him whether his wife is a commando? In his
response he told she was a PHD philosophy degree holder.
On the other hand the accused lawyer stated that "woman
is the Lordship of the house and has the legal right to maul."
Which again ended up with laughters.
On hearing both the sides the judge allowed the bail
verdict.
This incident has raised alarming situation amongst the
married men.
